About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Economic Strategist to join our team at Amazon, where you will play a key role in driving business growth and decision-making through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement advanced economic models to forecast demand and optimize business processes.
  2. Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  1. PhD in Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in economic modeling, data analysis, and business strategy.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Experience working with large datasets and advanced statistical techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Background in time series econometrics, asset pricing, or empirical macroeconomics.
  2. Experience with big data analytics and machine learning techniques.
  3. Strong research and analytical skills, with a proven track record of publishing research papers or presenting at industry conferences.
