About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Economic Strategist to join our team at Amazon, where you will play a key role in driving business growth and decision-making through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced economic models to forecast demand and optimize business processes.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply knowledge to inform business strategy.
Requirements
- PhD in Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in economic modeling, data analysis, and business strategy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with large datasets and advanced statistical techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in time series econometrics, asset pricing, or empirical macroeconomics.
- Experience with big data analytics and machine learning techniques.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with a proven track record of publishing research papers or presenting at industry conferences.
