Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and comfortable environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general cleaning duties throughout the facility, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Empty waste bins and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with laundry duties as required.
  • Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of health and safety issues, including COSHH regulations.
  • Previous experience as a domestic/housekeeper.
  • Caring, flexible, reliable, and possess good personal hygiene standards.

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Support Services or Customer Care (or willingness to work towards it).
  • Experience working as a domestic in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience working within a multi-professional team.
  • Understanding of the National Standards of Cleanliness.
