**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Saint John of God Hospitaller Services. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting our team of Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and support a team of Support Workers to deliver person-centered care and support plans
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care and support plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the individual needs of service users
  • Provide supervision and guidance to Support Workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Participate in on-call duties and provide emergency support as required
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained

**Requirements**

  • Experience of working in a care and support setting, with a focus on supporting individuals with complex needs
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Knowledge of key worker systems and ability to maintain confidentiality
