Traffic Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and personable individual to join our team as a Traffic Coordinator. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the day-to-day organization of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the allocation and routing of vehicles to ensure best-in-class service delivery to customers.
- Maintain health and safety standards, as well as environmental and O-licence compliance.
- Support employee engagement and continuous improvement in productivity and quality of service provision.

Requirements- Strong knowledge of the local area.
- Transport or waste industry experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate in writing, on a one-to-one basis, and via the phone with all levels, including management, team members, and internal/external customers.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively.
- Experience of working to strict deadlines in a time-critical environment.
- A willingness to adapt and develop skill-sets and knowledge, as determined by the role and business.
- Computer literacy, with a strong knowledge of Excel.
