About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Lines Insurance Adviser to join our successful and experienced team at Brown & Brown Europe. As a Personal Lines Insurance Adviser, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice to clients to ensure the conversion of new business, service of existing accounts, and retention of renewals to achieve company income targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and deliver against agreed Renewal Retention or New Business Targets, contributing towards the team's overall targets and KPIs.
  • Conduct thorough pre-renewal reviews with clients annually.
  • Perform a full market review for clients and offer the most suitable policy and product.
  • Invite all Personal Lines policies in good time, in line with our operational guidance.
  • Ensure policies are renewed on or before the renewal date.
  • Complete all roles and tasks as required by your line manager, ensuring all operational priorities and company rules, procedures, and policies for risk and compliance are adhered to.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks to ensure they are up to date and not overdue.
  • Identify and discuss cross-sell opportunities with clients.
  • Complete any necessary training and prepare for regular one-to-ones and annual year-end reviews.
  • Adhere to our Training & Competency scheme and pass audits.
  • Keep up to date with Continuous Professional Development Plan (CPD).
  • Undertake small projects and/or provide specialist input into wider business projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Personal Lines Insurance covering either Motor and/or Household risks.
  • Ability to identify the best policy to meet clients' needs.
  • Ability to take responsibility for own performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
