Detailed Job Description

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Practitioner for Early Intervention in Psychosis Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing early psychosis.

Main Responsibilities

As a Practitioner for Early Intervention in Psychosis Service, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive assessments and interventions to individuals experiencing early psychosis
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to support recovery and well-being
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Providing education and support to individuals, families, and carers
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
Person Specification

We are seeking an individual with the following skills and qualities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work effectively in a community setting
  • Desire to work in primary care
  • Good team player with a willingness to learn
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks
Desirable Criteria

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be advantageous:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Good IT skills
  • Community or acute experience
  • Basic patient care experience

Travel Requirements
