Job Title: Senior Management Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing dedicated financial support to our Transport Project Teams and serving as the primary interface for Business and Service Leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Oversight: Provide financial oversight for a portfolio of projects within the Project organisation, focusing on Orders, Sales, and Margin for the Transport Business.
  • Working Capital Analysis: Lead Working Capital Analysis, with a focus on accurate cash forecasting and managing inputs into Transport figures.
  • Financial Reporting: Consolidate monthly cash forecasts for project portfolios into overall Transport financials.
  • Bid Winning Process: Support the Bid Winning process and ongoing new business integration.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Business Reviews: Contribute to Monthly Business & Contract Reviews, driving profitability and improving forecast accuracy.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Own Budgeting & Forecasting processes, coordinating annual budgets and quarterly forecasts using PBCS, and manage monthly Latest Views for reporting.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant – CIMA/ACA/ACCA.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in contract or project management.
  • Skills: Strong in mathematics, advanced in Excel, and proficient with Oracle Financials and systems like Sitetacker, PowerBI, and Qlikview.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex accounting for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel to the office each week.
