Mental Health Practitioner

Livewell Southwest CIC is seeking an experienced Infant Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our Infant Mental Health Pathway, you will work with children aged 0-5 years and their families to provide consultation, assessment, and therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver consultation, assessment, and interventions to infants and young children aged 0-5 years and their parents/carers.
- Co-ordinate and implement evidence-based targeted interventions incorporating outcome measures.
- Work collaboratively with other CAMHS pathways across the city to ensure seamless care.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in care.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in infant and child mental health. Essential qualifications include a core qualification in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, or psychology, with at least 3 years post-registration experience or as a band 6 working with infants and young children.
Desirable qualifications include postgraduate training in working with infants, young children, and families in mental health, such as systemic practice or play therapy. Experience of working within children's mental health, providing mental health assessments, interventions, and risk management, is also essential.
