Finance Assistant Opportunity

Castlefield Recruitment is working with a public-sector organisation in Manchester to recruit a Finance Assistant on an interim basis, with a guaranteed permanent role. This position offers hybrid working, generous annual leave, study support, and other great benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accurate payments and collections
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure transactions are recorded correctly
  • Support the management accountant with budget monitoring and adhoc tasks

Requirements:

  • Strong transactional finance experience with management accounts and budget monitoring knowledge
  • AAT Qualified with experience using financial systems and strong Excel skills
  • Experience performing regular bank reconciliations and accounts payable/accounts receivable
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills with strong attention to detail
