Position Overview...

This role involves direct client interaction, focusing on the deployment of innovative Cloud and Infrastructure solutions tailored to meet intricate business requirements. Your background in IT Services or Consultancy, along with your comprehensive understanding of enterprise Cloud and Infrastructure solutions, will be crucial in guiding clients through their transformation processes.

  • Collaborate closely with Technical Architects to grasp the design rationale behind each solution.
  • Develop and implement solutions for offshore financial service firms and global corporations, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Deliver Server and Storage Infrastructure solutions across Microsoft Cloud platforms (Azure, M365, AVD), Server Infrastructure, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for client support.

You should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a client-facing consultancy role, working with enterprise clients to scope, design, and implement:

Cloud Infrastructure Expertise

Microsoft Azure

  • Skilled in deploying and managing Azure services (e.g., VMs, Azure AD, Azure Backup).
  • Knowledge of Azure Networking (e.g., Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway).
  • Experience with Azure Storage solutions (e.g., Blob Storage, Azure Files, Disk Storage).
  • Familiarity with Azure Governance and management tools (e.g., Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center).

Microsoft 365 (M365)

  • Experience in implementing and managing M365 services (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams).
  • Understanding of security and compliance within M365 (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Compliance Center).
  • Ability to integrate M365 with on-premises infrastructure.

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

  • Proficient in designing, deploying, and managing AVD environments.
  • Expertise in user profile management and optimization (e.g., FSLogix).
  • Knowledge of AVD security and compliance best practices.

Server and Storage Infrastructure Expertise

Server Infrastructure

  • Proficient in deploying and managing Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware vSphere).
  • Experience in Active Directory design and management.
  • Knowledge of server clustering and high availability solutions.

Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)

  • Experience in deploying and managing HCI solutions (e.g., Azure Stack HCI, Nutanix, VMware vSAN).
  • Understanding of HCI architecture and best practices.
  • Ability to integrate HCI with cloud and on-premises environments.

Storage Infrastructure

  • Knowledge of SAN, NAS, and DAS storage solutions.
  • Experience with storage replication and disaster recovery.
  • Expertise in storage performance tuning and optimization.

Technical Support Skills

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving

  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for both cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, SolarWinds).

Customer Support and Communication

  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Capability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing and resolving high-severity incidents.
