The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency. You will be responsible for reporting on 3PL warehouse and logistics KPIs to drive service improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Supply Planning on warehousing and logistics financials.
  • Managing day-to-day relationships with our third-party logistics providers, ensuring top-notch service delivery to our customers.
    • Establishing and managing contracts with third-party warehouses, focusing on cost, quality, and service standards.
  • Ensuring optimal warehouse capacity and utilization to meet seasonal demands.
  • Reviewing KPIs, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing solutions for recurring challenges.
  • Ensuring compliance with international export regulations.
  • Acting as the primary contact for all 3PL and internal functions, providing regular forecasts and updates on key operational activities.
  • Managing global and local logistics needs, covering both warehouse-to-customer and vendor-to-warehouse logistics.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with logistics partners.
    • Conducting tenders for logistics service providers to ensure optimal service at competitive costs.
    • Supervising the Logistics Coordinator to ensure all critical timelines are met and relevant information is up to date.
    • Ensuring compliance with all international trade requirements.
    • Monitoring quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and overall efficiency.
  • Utilizing stakeholder management skills to collaborate across the supply chain and broader business, ensuring our logistics network aligns with Trinny London's long-term objectives.
  • Working closely with the Head of Supply Planning to assess and optimize our supply chain network to meet current and future needs.
    • Leading and managing logistics and 3PL partnerships, conducting negotiations, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers.
    • Modeling and managing changes in the supply chain network from concept to execution.
  • Collaborating with the Product Innovation team to provide logistical insights during new product development and packaging innovation.
  • Supporting the Head of Supply Planning in enhancing our fulfillment processes, implementing corrective actions, and staying updated on evolving technologies and processes to maintain best-in-class standards.

Requirements

The following skills will be advantageous in this role:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering is preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or transportation management.
  • Experience in managing and developing team members.
  • A strong team player with the ability to mentor and train junior staff.
  • Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement in processes and efficiencies.
