Position Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our logistics team at MISSOMA. In this role, you will oversee the daily functions of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient and precise management of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products, maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring timely processing.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring smooth daily operations. Schedule shifts, assign responsibilities, and monitor performance while providing training and development opportunities.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits to prevent discrepancies and implementing quality control measures to ensure all products meet company standards prior to dispatch.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess key metrics such as order accuracy, picking and packing efficiency, and stock discrepancies. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with various teams, including Merchandising, Retail, Product Design, Wholesale, and Customer Care, to align warehouse activities with business objectives.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels and productivity metrics.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity within a warehouse or logistics setting, preferably in the jewellery or luxury goods sector.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the Peoplevox warehouse management system or Shopify e-commerce platform is advantageous.
  • A forklift license is a plus.
