We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our client's team in Chesterfield. This is a temporary position with a daily rate ranging from £96.00 to £110.00 per day.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and record financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update financial records and databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of periodic financial reports, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Reconcile supplier accounts, bank statements, and petty cash, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Manage invoices and ensure timely payments, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
- Assist with budget management and control, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.
- Previous experience in finance or accounting, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
