Job Title: Transport Planner 4 on 4 off

Our client, a leading global freight forwarder, is seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join their team. As a key member of the transport operation, you will be responsible for managing and planning vehicles for import collections and export deliveries from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and plan vehicles for import collections and export deliveries
  • Adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ensure compliance with DVSA, WTD, and UK legislation
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in scheduling or a related field
  • Good understanding of LHR and GHA's handling requirements
  • Aviation Security regulation knowledge and compliance
  • Previous experience in the air freight industry preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • IT generalist knowledge and experience with Transport Management systems
