The Senior Vice President of Communications for the Risk Advisory division plays a pivotal role within Kroll's corporate communications framework.

This position will act as the primary communications strategist for Kroll's Risk Advisory sector, collaborating closely with the leadership team to craft engaging, timely, and company-aligned messaging for various internal and external requirements. A significant focus will be on formulating and implementing communication strategies within the Risk Advisory division that resonate with the overall corporate objectives, fostering a robust culture and unity, while also supporting transformation initiatives aligned with business and employee engagement goals.

The responsibilities of the Senior Vice President of Risk Advisory Communications encompass all routine internal communications for the Risk Advisory division and its executive committee members. This includes, but is not limited to, town hall meetings, presentation slides, informal discussions, video broadcasts, memorandums, and blog posts across all internal platforms (such as email, intranet, collaboration tools, etc.). In close partnership with the external communications team, this role will also oversee the public presence of Risk Advisory executives through social media, media relations, and speaking opportunities.

This position reports directly to the Global Head of Corporate Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing firmwide internal communication initiatives for the Risk Advisory division, in collaboration with the Global Head of Corporate Communications and leads for various communication sectors.
  • Operating in a dynamic, high-volume environment to deliver internal communication projects and drive external strategies for the Risk Advisory division.
  • Implementing strategic initiatives, both proactive and reactive, for short-term and long-term campaigns specific to the Risk Advisory division.
  • Advising executives leading the Risk Advisory division on strategic communication plans and providing executive writing assistance.
  • Planning and composing content for various internal communication channels, including leadership presentations, newsletters, key messages/scripts, speeches, videos, and other creative materials.
  • Creating and managing an external profile for Risk Advisory executives, including social media presence and external presentations at relevant conferences, in close collaboration with the Global Head of Corporate Communications.
  • Acting as a strategic partner to other communication leads within the firm, identifying opportunities to showcase innovative practices and ideas emerging from the Risk Advisory division.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in developing internal and external communications, supporting executives, crafting impactful messaging, and implementing multi-channel programs to enhance employee engagement and business priorities.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills; experience managing communications across various channels, including intranet, live webcasts, newsletters, and collaboration tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with social media, media relations, and enhancing external profiles.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing multiple projects across diverse stakeholders; agency experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and SharePoint.
