Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct a team of systems engineers and safety specialists to deliver systems engineering and safety assurance mandates across North America.
  • Develop and implement key systems engineering processes and practices in accordance with industry standards, including ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288: 2015.
  • Establish and maintain a technical center of excellence for rail & transit system engineering and safety assurance within Exp Global Inc.
  • Develop budgets for the operational team and manage cost and delivery performance in accordance with business and project objectives.
  • Lead the team in achieving company health, safety, security & environmental and ethics & compliance objectives.
  • Identify and develop emerging talent within the team and act as a mentor for personal growth.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Experience as a business/project manager with accountability for P&L performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead multi-disciplined engineering teams.
  • Proven experience of the application of systems engineering in major infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to effectively interface with and influence engineering specialists, design managers, and construction project managers.
