**Role**: HGV Technician (HGV Fitter / Mechanic)
**Salary**: £30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum Depending On Experience
**Location**: On Site In Huntingdon
**Duration**: Permanent Job
**Shifts**: Optional Shift Pattern Mon-Fri 06:00 - 16:00 // 07:00 - 17:00 // 16:00 - 02:00

**Wanted**: Experienced HGV Technician to join a long standing, family run business that have been running for 45 years. They are currently on a big recruitment drive and I’m looking for an experienced Mechanic / Fitter who wants career progression, development & a rewarding career.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HGVs.
- Conduct thorough inspections and identify potential problems, making recommendations for repairs.
- Replace and repair damaged or worn-out parts.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

**Skills & Experience Needed**:

- Experience as an HGV Fitter or within a Mechanical environment
- Knowledge of either HGV systems, engines, or mechanical components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications and licenses, as required.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with regulations.
