We are currently looking to recruit a full time permanent heavy goods vehicle mechanic to work within a small team based at Brampton.

We operate a fleet of Daf trucks and also carry out third party maintenance work. A Class 1 C+E licence would be an advantage, but not essential.

**HGV Mechanic Responsibilities**:

- Carrying out routine inspections maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles & trailers to VOSA standard
- Diagnosing and rectifying all types of HGV faults
- Trailer repairs
- Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
- Carrying out routine maintenance on third party commercial vehicles
- Cosmetic repairs including some painting and welding if necessary
- Mentor apprentice and provide on the job training

This is a permanent, full-time position with a good earning potential.

40 hours per week plus overtime

Mon-Fri on a rotating shift pattern starting between 6am and 8am

Some Saturdays : 6am-12pm
