About the Role:As a Care Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining the personal care of residents, respecting their dignity and promoting independence. You will work as part of a team to ensure that care services are consistently provided to a high quality standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver high-quality care services
- Assist in the care of residents' physical environment and participate in general day-to-day activities
- Take responsibility for the running of the home and the wellbeing of staff and residents in the absence of the home manager
- Organise shifts, administer and record medication, liaise with health professionals, and record residents' computerised care plans
- Assist with the induction, training, and supervision of support staff
- Support residents with limited mobility or physical/learning difficulties, making the best use of mobility aids and personal equipment provided
- Experience of supervising a care team
- Ability to show empathy and understanding of the needs of residents
- Good leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Able to demonstrate a can-do attitude
- Excellent salary of £15.00 per hour and annual salary of £28,080 per annum
- Comprehensive induction and paid training programme with career prospects
