Job Title: Senior Manager, Client ServicesWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Client Services to join our Basingstoke team. As a key member of our Client Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering our client accounts and events across the UK, Europe, and globally.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive client management, support, and direction to existing and new clients within our Client Services team.
- Manage and coordinate all operational activity, event delivery, and client relationship management across one of our biggest sporting clients and their European event calendar.
- Develop and implement successful delivery strategies based on event dates and scope, including detailed advance planning for complex logistical requirements.
- Communicate and manage programme deadlines with clients, ensuring key dates are met and client expectations are continuously managed.
- Provide line management and direction to team members assisting in the delivery of projects, ensuring all client and Wasserman Live requirements are met to the highest standards.
- Ensure Wasserman Live and client Health and Safety processes are adhered to, promoting best practice across all events.
- Manage contract terms, monitor and meet contract KPIs, and drive revenue growth through strategic advice to clients.
- Proactively drive Wasserman Live's sustainability policy with clients, finding innovative ways to align our goals with that of our clients.
- Strong project management experience across event planning and delivery, to challenging timeframes.
- Collaborative and clear approach to commercial development and communication.
- Exceptional relationship management and diplomacy skills, including negotiating with and influencing decision making.
- Highly effective in building and writing presentations.
- Ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously, prioritizing and delegating where required, while ensuring continuous attention-to-detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, ensuring project systems and procedures are set up and structured correctly.
- Ability to think on your feet, evaluate risks, and take decisions to resolve issues, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
- Confident taking the financial lead on projects and client accounts, managing budgets and cost control.
- Promoting collaboration and cooperation across our business, comfortable working with and managing groups of cross-functional teams.
- Entrepreneurial, analytical, strategic, and creatively inquisitive.
- Flexibility to move between events and Wasserman Live teams to develop knowledge and skills, to support the wider business.
- Professional attitude at all times, coupled with an enthusiasm to succeed and approachable attitude.
- Ability to motivate others and lead by example.
Please note, some weekend work and/or anti-social / long hours will likely be required as part of event delivery.
