Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Customer Relations Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to nurture and maintain relationships with our existing network of merchants who stock our products. This position offers an exciting opportunity for career development, with the potential to progress into a senior sales role within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to ensure continued business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, address any concerns, and provide support as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and production to ensure seamless communication and service delivery to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products to existing clients, maximising revenue potential.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to effectively position our products and services.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on client activity, sales performance, and market insights for management review.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer relationship management, preferably within the timber or building materials industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as needed.
  • Full UK driving license.
