About the Role:

  • Develop detailed CAD designs for various projects, ensuring high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Design and create CAM programs for projects on a laser cutter.
  • Create efficient CAM programs to support CNC machining processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to design or CNC operations.
  • Maintain and update design files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CAD/CAM Design Specialist.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Powershape) and CAM software (e.g., Powermill).
  • Relative experience in using a laser cutter would be a benefit.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and programming.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
