About the Role

A unique opportunity has arisen to join a successful property firm in the property management sector of the business.

Our clients are seeking an experienced Property Manager who will enjoy problem-solving as a key part of the role. The ideal candidate will be able to deal with management issues and repairs. The successful candidate will ideally be ARLA qualified or seeking to be qualified.

You will be confident and have the ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst having the skills to deal with contractors, landlords, and tenants in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing your own portfolio
  • Dealing with daily maintenance, urgent works in a competent, timely manner
  • Ensuring gas/electrical safety checks are up to date
  • Arranging inventories, check-in, and check-outs
  • Advising utility companies of meter readings
  • Coordinating estimates and arranging repairs with contractors, liaising between landlords and tenants
  • Negotiating and coordinating renewal contracts
  • Negotiating the return of deposits between landlords and tenants
  • Daily correspondence
  • Preparation of Tenancy Agreements
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Property Manager
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High communication skills both verbally and written
  • A keen problem solver
  • Strong administration and excellent IT skills
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with landlords
  • Positive and encouraging attitude
  • ARLA qualified preferred
Work Environment

This role will be 4 days in the office with 1 day working from home.

Salary

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
