Position Overview

Priory Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Reception Coordinator to become a vital part of our Reception and Administrative Team.

This role involves working across multiple locations, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and visitors.

Work Schedule

The position is part-time, with a commitment of 24 hours per week, and flexibility in scheduling is essential.

Key Responsibilities

As the first point of contact, you will:

  • Project a welcoming and professional demeanor to patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.
  • Assist patients in navigating our services and connecting them with the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the practice, including clerical support for clinical staff.

About Our Organization

We are a progressive medical practice with a growing patient base, operating from three locations.

Travel between these sites is required to provide comprehensive reception coverage.

Opportunities for additional hours may be available.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer usage and communication.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a primary care setting.
  • Background in reception or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with healthcare management software.
