Emergency Medical Practitioner

We are currently seeking a qualified Emergency Medical Practitioner to join our team at The Resources Hub. This role involves providing critical medical support in remote settings, ensuring the health and safety of personnel in high-risk environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver both emergency and routine medical care to personnel.
- Oversee the implementation and review of emergency preparedness protocols.
- Provide training and mentorship to the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Engage in emergency response drills to familiarize with various roles.
- Manage on-site medical facilities to ensure prompt and professional care.
- Conduct regular training sessions on the use of medical equipment, including defibrillators.
- Establish and maintain a health management audit system.
- Assist the Health & Safety Manager in compliance reporting and health data analysis.
- Promote adherence to company policies and safety standards.
- Interpret relevant legislation and standards to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with the Occupational Health and Safety Department on health-related projects.
- Ensure accurate administration and documentation of injury management data.
- Conduct biological monitoring for exposure to hazardous substances.
- Bachelor's degree in Paramedical Science or equivalent experience.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
- Proven experience in emergency medical services and first response.
- Valid Western Australian Driver's License (Manual 'C' Class).
- Familiarity with medical evacuation protocols.
- Knowledge of injury management and return-to-work processes.
- Experience in rural and remote healthcare settings.
- A minimum of three years in the mining sector.
- Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic capabilities.
- Background in Workers Compensation and Injury Management.
- Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or Hygiene.
- Experience in emergency response within mining environments.
- Familiarity with INX systems.
- Certification in Training & Assessing.
- Experience in rural and remote medical services.
- Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills.
- Background in Workers Compensation and Injury Management.
- Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or Hygiene.
- Experience in emergency response situations in mining contexts.
- Familiarity with INX systems.
- Certification in Training & Assessing.
