Job Summary
The Heico Companies LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our Sales and Marketing Department. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers, ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of Bartell machinery. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers, ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of Bartell machinery.
- Conduct on-site and off-site troubleshooting and commissioning efforts to resolve technical issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Engineering, to ensure seamless customer support.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in the industrial equipment industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global environment.
Travel Requirements
This role requires up to 65% travel, with frequent domestic and international travel to customer sites and industry events.
