Senior Cost Manager - Turner & Townsend
Turner & Townsend is on the lookout for a Senior Cost Manager to enhance our expanding Healthcare division. Our team is dedicated to executing significant transformative initiatives across the healthcare sector, employing advanced digital cost management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive service delivery for major healthcare projects and impactful national programmes.
- Maximize cost efficiency throughout project phases utilizing our tailored tools and applications.
- Work closely with design teams, sector experts, and primary contractors to manage financial frameworks.
- Evaluate and validate budgets with our Benchmarking application using nationwide data.
- Enhance collaboration with designers through our CostX and cost planning applications.
- Leverage the analytical features of our Market Rates App to provide clients with insights on future cost trends.
- Guide clients on procurement and contractual strategies.
- Implement the procurement strategy effectively using our eTender platform.
- Manage post-contract financial discrepancies and valuations with our Cost Control Application.
- Deliver monthly post-contract financial control reports to clients.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in delivering cost management services within the healthcare or life sciences sectors.
- Membership or progress towards RICS (MRICS), ACostE, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Familiarity with NEC forms of contract is advantageous.
