Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to provide administrative and bookkeeping support to our finance team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily financial activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Manage daily cash receipts, process invoices, and reconcile company accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns, compile and process payroll, and maintain business records.
  • Financial Administration: Establish and maintain processes for timely supplier payments, respond to finance-related customer queries, and assist auditors with annual audit preparation.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, maintain accurate financial records, and perform monthly reconciliations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven 2 years' experience in an accounts assistant role or similar.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
