Position Overview

We are currently seeking a diligent and proactive Facilities Supervisor to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of our facilities for daily operations as well as special events.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the maintenance team to uphold high standards of facility appearance and promptly address any arising issues, ensuring site security, managing traffic, assisting with room arrangements, and handling general logistical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related concerns, including:
    • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the site
    • Responding to emergency alarms in accordance with established protocols
    • Addressing urgent requests from management and other departments
    • Overseeing site security during off-hours and responding to inquiries from visitors
  • Facilitate the movement of furniture and equipment as needed
  • Prepare spaces for various functions, including setting up furniture
  • Handle mail sorting and distribution
  • Manage deliveries and their distribution throughout the facility

Health and Safety Compliance

  • Execute all tasks in line with health and safety regulations and organizational procedures
  • Participate in health and safety assessments and checks as required
  • Report potential hazards to the appropriate departments

Security and Emergency Response

  • Ensure site security by managing access to buildings and facilities
  • Monitor and respond to alarm systems
  • Take an active role in emergency situations, including fire alarms
  • Regularly check premises for security breaches
  • Maintain safety protocols during events and setups

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks as directed by management
  • Manage waste disposal and litter collection
  • Assist with deep cleaning initiatives during designated periods
