Facilities Supervisor

Location: Remote

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Average of 37.5 hours per week, flexible scheduling available.

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Facilities Supervisor to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of our facilities for daily operations and special events.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the housekeeping team to uphold high standards of facility appearance and promptly address any arising issues. Responsibilities will also include ensuring site security, assisting with event setups, and general logistical support.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Management

  • Act as the primary Facilities Supervisor as needed, including:
    • Maintaining high standards of site appearance at all times
    • Responding to emergency alarms in accordance with established procedures
    • Addressing urgent requests from management and other departments
    • Overseeing site security during off-hours and responding to inquiries from visitors
  • Facilitating the movement of furniture and equipment as required
  • Preparing spaces for various functions, including furniture arrangement
  • Managing mail sorting and delivery
  • Handling deliveries and ensuring proper distribution

Health and Safety Compliance

  • Conduct all tasks in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Participate in necessary health and safety testing and inspections
  • Report potential hazards to the appropriate departments

Security and Emergency Response

  • Ensure site security by managing access to buildings and facilities
  • Monitor and respond to alarm systems
  • Participate in emergency evacuation procedures as needed
  • Maintain awareness of safety protocols during events

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks as directed by management
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in all areas
  • Assist with deep cleaning initiatives during off-peak periods
