About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team at Venom IT, a fast-growing UK-based MSP IT solutions company based in Cheshire. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, and configuring computer systems to meet various company specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configuring computer systems, laptops, tablets, and PCs to meet various company specifications
  • Troubleshooting and resolving user hardware and software issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Supporting applications for the internet and intranet
  • Traveling to client sites to provide on-site support
  • Working with our technical team to resolve complex technical issues
Required Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in user support, hardware/software requests, and fulfillment
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting local and remote information technology users in a Windows OS environment
  • 1-3 years of experience with networking, TCP/IP, Windows servers
  • 1-3 years of experience with configuration of user laptops and desktops
Required Skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (phone and in person)
  • Must be very presentable
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
