Position Overview

Matchtech, a prominent player in the technology sector, is on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Specialist to enhance their team.

This role presents a unique chance to engage with a vibrant and cooperative group dedicated to the ongoing enhancement of their Information Security Management System (ISMS) aimed at achieving ISO 27001 certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulating and upholding information security policies, procedures, standards, and frameworks in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001
  • Recognizing, evaluating, and prioritizing information security threats while devising risk mitigation strategies
  • Overseeing information security risks linked to third-party vendors and clients
  • Conducting routine evaluations and risk analyses of information security controls and processes
  • Generating security and risk documentation for management and key stakeholders
  • Executing security awareness training initiatives to inform staff about cyber threats and best practices
  • Assisting with information security incidents and IT transformation initiatives as necessary
  • Tracking regulatory developments and ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly ISO/IEC 27001

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in establishing an ISMS across various organizational environments, including audit readiness
  • Comprehensive understanding of information security principles, frameworks, particularly ISO 27001, and industry best practices
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance mandates such as GDPR and NIS
  • Experience in the development of policies, procedures, and standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certification (or equivalent experience)
