We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse to join our team as an A&E General Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing various procedures, including airway management and peri-operative care.
- Lead and supervise the work of other qualified and unqualified staff, promoting a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Take charge of the department in the absence of senior nursing staff, as deemed appropriate by the Department Sister or Clinical Matron.
- Develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge necessary to provide research-informed, evidence-based nursing care.
- NMC registration
- Evidence of professional portfolio and recent study
- Assessing and Mentoring qualification
- Previous experience in an acute Trust
- Previous experience in recovery or scrub
