We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide expert care to patients with complex facial trauma and oral cancer * Manage the day-to-day workload of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department * Assist in meeting Key Performance Indicators for the Royal Cornwall Hospital **About Us:** The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is a leading provider of acute and specialist care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We are a teaching hospital in partnership with the University of Exeter Medical School, University of Plymouth School of Nursing and Midwifery, and Peninsula Dental School. **Person Specification:** * GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice * GMC Specialist Register for or within six months of obtaining CCT/European Community Rights at time of interview * Successfully completed the Intercollegiate Fellowship Exam in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery or equivalent **Desirable Qualifications:** * Completion of a relevant surgical fellowship * Has completed an educational supervisor training course * Holds an ATLS certificate **Experience:** * Ability to manage patients with complex facial trauma * Ability to manage patients with oral cancer * Experience in the surgical management of temporomandibular joint pathology * Broad experience of head and neck skin cancer surgery including metastatic disease * Training in teaching and experience of post graduate and undergraduate teaching If you are a motivated and experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist looking for a new challenge, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
