Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care for patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial surgery.
  2. Lead and supervise the work of other qualified and unqualified staff, promoting a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  4. Take charge of the department in the absence of senior nursing staff, demonstrating leadership and clinical expertise.
Requirements
  • NMC registration and evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Previous experience in an acute Trust, preferably in recovery or scrub.
  • Assessing and Mentoring qualification, with a focus on patient-centered care.
