About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Events Manager to join our team at Oliver Wyman. As a key member of our Global Events Team, you will be responsible for leading internal and client-facing events across Europe, as well as developing and implementing a strategic event program for the UKI market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Execution: Develop and implement an annual event plan for the UKI Market, including events such as conferences, networking events, and corporate hospitality.
  • Logistics and Budget Management: Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue contracting, travel management, and budgeting.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of event planners and coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure successful event execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the UKI Market Leader, OW Forum Executive Team, and UK Marketing Head, to ensure alignment and effective event execution.
  • Event Design and Innovation: Implement key innovation and trends in the industry to create compelling event designs and continually improve standards in our events offering.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 7 years of international event management experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale events.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives and stakeholders. Strong project management and budgeting skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as event management, marketing, or business administration.
