Senior Care Assistant Opportunity

An exciting new role has emerged for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at a prestigious care home in the Colne, Lancashire area. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be working for a leading provider of healthcare services.

Our care home offers a warm and luxurious environment, providing long-term and respite care to our residents. To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and be willing to complete Level 3.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a team of care assistants to deliver exceptional care to our residents, enabling them to live their later life well.
  • Support residents with personal care needs and facilitate their participation in various activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Passion for caring for older people.
  • Previous care experience.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care.
  • A kind, warm, and caring nature, with the ability to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative.
  • Patience, communication, and listening skills are essential.
  • Maintaining accurate records, time management, and prioritizing tasks will also be valuable assets.
  • Ability to lead by example, form positive relationships, and energize colleagues to deliver exceptional care.
