Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the storage, retrieval, and archiving of patient records to support outpatient services.
  • Handle incoming mail and distribute it to the appropriate personnel.
  • Provide customer service, assist with patient registration, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Maintain familiarity with filing systems and ensure accurate filing of patient records.
  • Recognize the significance of precise and timely filing practices.
  • Utilize tracking systems to locate and request patient records when they are not in main storage areas.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries from various departments and external hospitals regarding patient information or records.
  • Update tracking systems to reflect the location and status of patient records in relation to document management.
  • Safeguard confidential information by filing it appropriately within patient records.
  • Retrieve patient records for healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, including printing, answering calls, and labeling.
  • Provide general support to the Medical Secretarial team as required.

Education and Qualifications
