Occupational Therapist Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of patients with complex needs, using evidence-based practice and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Support the learning and development of students and staff, and contribute to the development of enhanced clinical skills and knowledge in an area of interest linked with patient cohorts.
- Participate in 7-day working patterns as required, and work in accordance with RCOT and HCPC rules of professional conduct and within local care pathways, policies, and standards.
- Establish and maintain effective communication networks with patients, carers, MDT, other workers, and agencies across health, social care, and the private sector locally and regionally.
- Contribute to the Trust and Group clinical governance arrangements and quality agenda, including the setting and monitoring of practice standards, clinical risks, and information management.
