We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Medical Wards team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a Specialist Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex needs, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of patients with varying diagnoses and complex needs, using evidence-based practice and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Support the learning and development of students and staff, contributing to the growth and development of the therapy service.
- Develop enhanced clinical skills and knowledge in an area of interest linked to patient cohorts, such as cognition, specific clinical conditions, or prehabilitation/acute rehabilitation.
- Participate in 7-day working patterns as required, ensuring seamless care delivery across the week.
