Occupational Therapist Specialist

About the Role
University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our medical wards team. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of patients with complex needs, using evidence-based practice and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Support the learning and development of students and staff, contributing to the Trust's clinical governance arrangements and quality agenda.
- Develop enhanced clinical skills and knowledge in an area of interest linked with patient cohorts, such as cognition or specific clinical conditions.
- Participate in 7-day working patterns as required, working as an autonomous practitioner and member of the multidisciplinary team.
