Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a Rotational Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient departments, and develop your skills in assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to promote independence and quality of life.
  • Provide a range of interventions, including physical, cognitive, and perceptual therapies, to address patients' needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective discharge planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote patient-centered care.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based research to inform clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience in acute care settings, with a focus on clinical development and excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
