About The Early Careers Company

We're a dynamic and fast-paced organisation dedicated to delivering incredible careers for everyone. Our purpose drives our work across two companies and a charity that focus on early careers and social mobility.

Our team thrives on collaboration, working hard, and having fun while doing it. We're an energetic, young, and growing team with ambitious growth plans.

The Associate Role

The Associate role is a key member of our team, serving as the first step on the ladder that takes members of the team from a junior-level hire to Director. We believe in 'practise what you preach', so almost all of our internal hiring is focused on high-capability juniors who learn our market, methodology, and key skills, and are able to grow and develop with our organisation.

Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with our key clients across various sectors to deliver on mandates and hiring campaigns, covering the UK, EU, US, and Asia.
  2. Build and develop relationships with our key stakeholders, operating as true partners to our clients.
  3. Advise and consult our clients on their early talent strategies, including designing/improving interview processes and reviewing/developing hiring plans.
  4. Develop compelling narratives around our clients' histories, growth, business models, structures, processes, and roles to deliver to potential joiners, ensuring a smooth, consistent, and high-quality candidate experience.
  5. Identify, approach, and build relationships with candidates, typically young people with limited or no work experience. We see ourselves as guides and educators, identifying what people would be good at and where they would fit, and explaining these sectors/industries/functions to them.
  6. Manage hiring processes to create a fantastic experience for the businesses we work with and our candidates.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 0-1 year of professional working experience in a client or customer-facing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
