About the Role

Location: Brighter Foods

This is a full-time role requiring 37.5 hours per week.

Brighter Foods is a recognized food manufacturer situated in a picturesque area, renowned for its stunning natural surroundings. Since our inception, we have infused expertise, resources, and talent into a flourishing sector of food production, catering to consumers seeking the finest ingredients and exceptional taste in healthy snack options.

In this position, you will work independently to assist Managers across our entire operation.

The People Business Partner will report directly to the People Director, providing support in critical areas such as employee relations, data analysis, and project initiatives, while also assisting the broader group with HR-related functions. You will offer guidance and advice to staff and managers, ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a robust HR generalist background, particularly within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and/or manufacturing environments.

Role Requirements:

  • Level 5 CIPD Qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience managing employee relations across various business sectors
  • Expertise in advising Senior Managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Comprehensive understanding of current employment legislation
  • Strong skills in relationship-building, problem-solving, and data analysis
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate adaptability, and embrace change
  • Preferably, experience as an HR Generalist in a blue-collar setting

Responsibilities:

  • Forge strong partnerships with the Site Leadership Team to ensure effective delivery of People objectives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach, providing expert guidance on all HR matters to managers across the site
  • Collaborate with the wider People team to maintain consistency in strategic goals and practices
  • Work closely with support teams, such as Payroll, Time & Attendance, Shared Services, and People Data, to ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks
  • Oversee employee relations activities, including complex ER issues and managing cases related to various employee concerns
  • Support strategic responsibilities, such as organizational change, succession planning, and performance management
  • Collaborate with on-site management to establish appropriate performance metrics and hold teams accountable for deliverables
  • Enhance engagement and promote a positive culture through the development and implementation of engagement activities
  • Develop management and staff in coaching skills and HR processes, delivering training to the internal management team
  • Conduct data analysis, contribute to KPI processes, and provide insights on HR metrics to identify operational opportunities
