Job Title: HR Advisor
We are currently recruiting an HR Advisor to join our team in Tywyn. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function and providing guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Manage all core ER cases, including sickness cases, flexible working requests, performance management plans, grievance and disciplinary processes.
- Welfare and OH Referrals: Conduct risk assessments, amended duties, and capability processes.
- Advice and Guidance: Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and managers as required.
- HR Business Partner: Liaise with the HR Business Partner to ensure appropriate support is provided on complex ER issues.
- People Development: Champion the development of people management skills across the organization.
- Parental Leave: Manage parental leave across business areas.
- Coaching and Influencing: Coach and influence managers from a people perspective, developing their people management/leadership skills and constructively challenging inappropriate behaviors/actions.
- Performance Management: Ensure all cases of formal performance management are documented and recorded in line with internal audit requirements.
- Engagement Activities: Support with creation and roll out of engagement activities.
- Training and Development: Develop managers and colleagues in coaching skills and our people processes.
- Induction and Training: Support the delivery of the local induction as required.
- HR Module Training: Delivery of HR module training to internal management team.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Support positive D&I culture within the wider team.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least two years of HR experience.
- Clean UK Driving License: Required.
- HR Experience: Experience advising managers and stakeholders on HR policies and procedures.
- Case Management: Experience managing HR cases, within a warehousing or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills and a good working knowledge of current employment legislation.
- Communication Skills: Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
- Relationship Building: Strong relationship building skills.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and summarize key findings.
- Communication and Data Presentation: Good communication and data presentation skills.
- Initiative and Flexibility: Capable of working using your own initiative.
- Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable.
- CIPD Qualification: Level 5 CIPD Qualification (Desirable) or Level 3 CIPD Qualification and studying Level 5.
