Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness. As a key member of our hotel's management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our restaurant serves high-quality, seasonal food in a welcoming and informal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team by training them on standards, hygiene, and quality
- Review ingredients and deliveries to ensure optimal stock levels
- Monitor waste and portion control to minimize costs
- Develop and implement menu creation, including costings, to meet budget requirements
- Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure seamless service and high-quality food standards
Requirements:
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Head Chef
- Highly flexible and able to respond creatively to any situation
- Well-organized, clean, and resistant to stress
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and ordering platforms
