At Lawes Insurance Recruitment, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Sales professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage incoming sales and customer enquiry calls to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
- Produce and issue quotation, new business, and renewal documentation to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Assist customers in protecting their material assets and liabilities by providing expert advice and guidance.
- Follow up and convert leads, as well as make outbound calls to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve agreed sales and retention targets, both individually and as part of the overall team.
- Maintain and achieve growth in income from existing customers through effective account management and relationship building.
- Develop and maintain positive ongoing relationships with Insurers and Underwriters in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards, and external compliance regulations are met at all times.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all products and services to assist customers in making informed decisions.
- Minimum of 5 Grade A-C GCSEs or equivalent.
- Competent to sell SME general insurance with a strong understanding of the UK insurance market and its dynamics.
- Relevant experience in a branch and/or broker sales position, with a proven track record in delivering on sales targets.
- CII FIT Qualification or willingness to undertake this study upon role success.
- Experience of e-trading platforms, with Acturis being advantageous but not required.
