Night Transport Operations Supervisor

Role OverviewAs a Night Transport Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a cost-effective and compliant logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead your team in achieving operational excellence, contributing to the journey of 'From Gate to Great'.
- Foster effective communication, leadership, motivation, training, and development within your team to maintain operational efficiency and meet daily objectives.
- Uphold quality standards in accordance with On Time In Full (OTIF) metrics.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and corporate regulations pertaining to transportation.
- Oversee asset management to guarantee that vehicles and trailers are ready for scheduled maintenance and servicing.
- Implement and enforce company policies effectively.
- Support the application of the Unipart Way in daily operations.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Experience as a Transport First Line Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, including Working Time Directive and Drivers' hours.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with the capability to learn internal systems.
