Role Overview

As a Night Transport Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a cost-effective and compliant logistics operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead your team in achieving operational excellence, contributing to the journey of 'From Gate to Great'.
  • Foster effective communication, leadership, motivation, training, and development within your team to maintain operational efficiency and meet daily objectives.
  • Uphold quality standards in accordance with On Time In Full (OTIF) metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and corporate regulations pertaining to transportation.
  • Oversee asset management to guarantee that vehicles and trailers are ready for scheduled maintenance and servicing.
  • Implement and enforce company policies effectively.
  • Support the application of the Unipart Way in daily operations.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience as a Transport First Line Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, including Working Time Directive and Drivers' hours.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with the capability to learn internal systems.
