Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team at Raytheon Technologies. This role is pivotal in supporting the design, development, and integration of advanced weapon systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will operate primarily in a workshop and laboratory setting, contributing to various projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will engage in a variety of tasks that include:

  • Complying with Company Health and Safety regulations and policies.
  • Performing mechanical assembly, modifications, and repairs of hardware components.
  • Conducting regular inspections of tools and machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Executing mechanical and electrical testing procedures.
  • Completing necessary documentation and maintenance records accurately.
  • Understanding quality standards and proactively reporting any issues or observations.
  • Occasionally working at locations outside the main facility.

Required Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in an electrical and mechanical technician role.
  • Ability to adhere to strict Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in using tools for the repair and manufacture of equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in an Aerospace or Defence environment.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • UK Passport.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
