Role Responsibilities

As an Engineering Technician, you will collaborate with a team of engineers in a workshop and laboratory setting. This position offers a diverse range of tasks, complemented by on-the-job training.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Adhering to company health and safety policies and regulations.
  • Conducting mechanical assembly, modification, and repair of hardware.
  • Performing regular inspections of tools and machinery.
  • Executing mechanical and electrical testing procedures.
  • Completing necessary documentation and maintenance records.
  • Understanding quality standards and proactively reporting any issues.
  • Opportunities to work off-site may arise occasionally.

Required Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an electrical and mechanical technician role.
  • Ability to follow stringent environmental health and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in using tools for equipment repair and manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in an aerospace or defence environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • UK passport.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
